According to NCC News, on April 30, on the occasion of the Persian Gulf National Day, Dr. Mirkazemi, Vice President and Head of Plan and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, unveiled the National Water Atlas by attending the National Cartographic Center of IRAN (NCC)

In this ceremony, after presenting a detailed report on the activities of NCC by Ali Javidaneh, Director General of NCC, Dr. Mirkazemi, Vice President and Head of Plan and Budget Organization, while commemorating the Persian Gulf National Day, hailed the efforts of NCC in producing spatial information, especially spatial information of National Atlas. After this ceremony, Dr. Mirkazemi visited various technical departments of NCC and watched the process of producing maps and spatial information.

It is worth mentioning that the national water atlas of Iran has been prepared and compiled by the experts of NCC. National Cartographic Center of IRAN can play a significant role in the management and planning the country in water resources management.
