According to NCC news, the 32nd meeting of the ECO Regional Planning Committee (RPC) with the presence of ECO member countries in person / virtual (Hybrid) from January 17–26, 2021 is being held.

On the first day of the meeting of the Mineral, Energy and Environment Committee of ECO, engineer Hamed Moradian, Head of the International Office of the NCC, by attending the secretariat of the organization, explained the plans of the organization for 2022.

He further reviewed the activities of the NCC in this committee, and proposed holding a virtual international training course on "Basics of Synthetic Aperture Radar Remote Sensing", which was welcomed by the Secretariat and member countries.

He also proposed to review the conditions for hosting the third meeting of the heads of surveying organizations of the ECO member countries in person in Tehran, which was welcomed by the Secretariat.

It is worth mentioning that NCC is one of the active members of the Energy, Mineral and Environment Committee of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). The organization has been selected for the third time as the Secretary of the ECO Geomatics Committee until 2023 and has so far held several international training courses.

ECO has 10 members, including Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
