َAccording to the International Cooperation Office of NCC, Dr. Behzad Vosoghi, Professor of the Department of Geodesy, Faculty of Geomatics Engineering, K. N. Toosi University of Technology and Scientific Secretary of the 27^th  National Geomatics Engineering Conference, in a conversation with the public relations of NCC, the important approach of the 2023 National Geomatics Conference is to create synergy between Faculty members, specialists, experts and students of geomatics engineering said and added: "This event is the most significant national event in geomatics due to its history and age." For this reason, it is of interest to faculty members and students of universities and higher education institutions active in this field. Therefore, specialists and experts in this field consider it a place to get acquainted with the latest achievements and Geomatics engineering equipment.”

He stated that holding scientific events such as the geomatics conference will definitely have a significant impact on creating synergy and improving the scientific level of experts and researchers in this field, he acknowledged: "For many years, the conditions of sanctions ruling the country and the community of engineers and Geomatics researchers have made it possible for the members of this field to adapt to these conditions despite all the problems and limitations to achieve significant success in the field of new technologies and research based on Geomatics knowledge technologies.
 

 Vosoghi stated: "One of the results of holding the National Geomatics Conference is to raise the level of awareness of officials and those involved in Geomatics knowledge, so that more support for experts and researchers in this field is taken into consideration. This can be of great help in advancing the national goals and development of the country by changing the attitude of the officials.

The scientific secretary of the National Geomatics Conference 2023 mentioned about the scientific position of this conference which is very rich and effective and said: "The scientific secretariat of the conference has tried to select the topics and themes of the conference by using the collective knowledge and experience of the academic staff members of the universities and  experts in this field while selecting and introducing the most up-to-date and effective topics related to geomatics engineering, various trends and its applications. Topics such as environment and natural disasters, which play an important role in the country's planning, are taken into consideration in this conference.

 According to Dr. Vosoghi, more than fifty articles have been sent to the conference secretariat so far, and it is hoped that this number will increase significantly by the end of the announced deadline, considering the experience of the past years.

In this regard, he pointed out: "Due to the uniqueness and age of this conference, the level of articles that have been sent to the secretariat of the conference so far is of a high scientific level, and we hope that with the support and participation of all members of the community of experts in this field it will be held with  high-quality at the national level.
 

It is worth mentioning that the 27^th National Conference and Exhibition of Geomatics Engineering was held by NCC with the participation and support of the Association of Geomatics Engineering of Iran and several agencies and ministries of the country on May 1-4, 2023 and hosts the experts in the field of Geomatics.
