In order to implement the MOU between the SCLMG of the Republic of Tajikistan and NCC of Iran, the meeting was held on:

MOU Needs Analysis to Evaluate Spatial Information Technical Priorities of State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan

According to the NCC report, quoted from the international relations office of NCC, in order to implement the MOU between the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan and National Cartographic Center of Iran, the Meeting of MOU needs assessment was held to evaluate spatial information technical priorities.

This meeting was held on July 13, 2022 as a webinar with the presence of Eng. Baktash, Technical and Spatial Information Production Deputy of NCC, Eng. Seyedin, Technical and Spatial Information Production Deputy of NCC, and Eng. Moradian, head of the International Relations Office of NCC.
 
At first, Eng. Moradian, while welcoming and expressing hope to implementation of the signed memorandum, emphasized on the necessity to speed up the needs assessment operations as well as benefiting from the specialized and technical capacities of the private sector and knowledge-based companies, as NCC of Iran is going to provide guidance and technical and engineering advice to the Republic of Tajikistan. He also requested the Tajik side to express the important needs of its organization regarding the technical provisions of the memorandum.
 
In the following, Mr. Dowlatzadeh, Deputy of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan, while expressing satisfaction at the signing of this memorandum and expressing the desire of the Republic of Tajikistan to visit the Iranian delegation in Dushanbe, offered the most important technical needs of his organization, including aerial photography, training the specialists in technical departments, creating digital cadaster and preparing national atlases.
 
Then, Eng. Baktash, referring to the 70-year experience of NCC in aerial photography, presented technical explanations about the organization's aviation navigation system and the country's drone network. He also specified the needs of the Tajik side regarding the issue of cadaster by giving expert explanations and raising several questions.
 
Eng. Seyedin, referring to the “Window System” of the Land Management Department and the “Digital Classification system”, gave additional explanations about the Digital Cadaster and also National Atlases. Expressing his hope in the implementation of the memorandum by using the capacities of the private sector of Iran and the supervision of NCC, he emphasized: “Persian language and the cultural-historical roots of the two countries will cause more affinity.”
 
At the end of this webinar, Eng. Moradian, referring to the valuable experience of NCC in holding specialized ECO training courses for the countries of the region, announced the complete preparation of NCC to hold training courses for the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan as the first step in implementation of the memorandum.
 
In the end, it was decided that the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan should officially invite NCC to visit the country of the Republic of Tajikistan and evaluate the needs of that committee more precisely. It was also decided that the committee should announce its priorities in technical fields regarding the holding of training and specialized courses to NCC as soon as possible.
 
It is worth mentioning that in order to export the Technical and Engineering Services of NCC to other countries, the technical memorandum of understanding between NCC and SCLMG was signed by Senior officials of Iran and Tajikistan on May 30, 2022 with the focus on providing guidance and technical and engineering advice in the presence of the presidents of Iran and Tajikistan.
