According to NCC report, by sending separate messages to four presidents of the International Surveying Associations, Engineer Gholam-Ali Jafarzadeh Imanabadi the Director General of National Cartographic Center of Iran(NCC), congratulated the occasion of the September 3, the birthday anniversary of Al-Biruni as the Surveying Engineering Day to the presidents of the International Surveying Associations. 

Christian Heipke, President of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing(ISPRS), Andy Barnicoat, President of the Regional Committee of United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management for Asia and the Pacific (UN-GGIM-AP), Rudolf Staiger, President of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), and Tim Trainor, President of the International Cartographic Association (ICA), were the presidents who received the message of the Director General of NCC.
