In order to export the technical and engineering services of NCC to other countries:

NCC Holds First Meeting with Azercosmos of Azerbaijan to Evaluate Capabilities and Find Cooperation Fields

According to the NCC report, quoted from the international relations office of NCC, in line with the export of technical and engineering services of the NCC to other countries, the first webinar meeting of the NCC with the Azercosmos of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the aim of evaluating the technical capabilities of the two organizations was held in the spatial information fields.

This meeting was held on August 01, 2022 as a webinar with the presence ofDr. Sedighi, Technical and Spatial Information Production Deputy of NCC, Eng. Seyedin, Technical and Spatial Information Production Deputy of NCC, Dr. Madd, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) General Manager of NCC, and Eng. Moradian, head of the International Relations Office of NCC.

At first, Eng. Moradian, while welcoming and expressing hope for technical cooperation between the two organizations, emphasized the common cultural, linguistic and historical points of the two countries and said: "NCC of Iran is ready to export the engineering technical services in all spatial information issues to Azerbaijan."

In the following, Dr. Sedighi, presented technical explanations about the organization's geomatics knowledge in Iran and said: " NCC has great potential for cooperation in various fields, including marine charts, hydrography, cadastre, etc.,


Then Dr. Madad, referring to the NCC's great capability in spatial information infrastructure (SDI) and also the Caspian Sea as a platform for defining joint projects, said: “NCC has a lot of experience in the  Marine Spatial Data Infrastructure (MSDI) field and can share this experience for Azercosmos of Azerbaijan."

In the following, Eng. Seyedeyn, evaluated the Azercosmos of the Republic of Azerbaijan by giving expert explanations and raising several questions and stated: " referring to the 70-year experience of NCC in existence of suitable platforms for cooperation between the organizations, I hope that during the upcoming meetings we will be able to reach common points in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

At the end of this webinar, Eng. Moradian thanked all the participating members again and referring this meeting will be as the first step in future cooperation.
