NCC of the Islamic Republic of Iran and SCLMG of the Republic of Tajikistan Sign Joint MOU

According to NCC news, quoted from the International Cooperation and Engineering Services Export Office of NCC, after many hours of visiting the technical departments of NCC, the head of the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan and his accompanying delegation had an intensive meeting with trustees of NCC. The meeting was held on June 12, 2024 in line with implementation of the MoU between the National Cartographic Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan, at the venue of NCC.

Ali Javidaneh, the director general of NCC, expressed his appreciation to the head of the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan and the accompanying delegation for accepting his official invitation and being present at NCC. He also added that this communication and the memorandum of understanding is a turning point in cooperation between the two countries.

Aref Khajezadeh, the head of the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan, while thanking and appreciating the trustees of NCC, expressed his satisfaction with the good cooperation of NCC. He also added that the expansion of bilateral interactions in line with the implementation of the memorandum is an important step in strengthening the relations between the two countries. He also expressed his hope that due to the scientific and technological capacities of NCC, these interactions and collaborations would be more than before.

Tajikistan’s ambassador to Tehran, Nizamuddin Zahedi, also attended this meeting. He enumerated the presence of delegations of the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan very fruitful and full of achievements and appreciated NCC. He also expressed the hope that in the future, the two organizations will further strengthen their bilateral cooperation in the field of Geomatics and the issuance of technical and engineering services.

It is worth mentioning that nine meeting agendas were added to the initial memorandum of understanding, which was signed by the parties in two versions in Persian and Tajik languages ​​with equal validity on June 12, 2024, in Tehran.
