According to NCC News, quoted from the International Cooperation and Engineering Services Export Office of NCC, the sixth international training course for ECO members states will be held by NCC on September 23 and 24, 2024.

After the successful holding of the fifth ECO international training course in August 2023, this organization has decided to hold the sixth international technical training course on " The Current Technologies and Trends in Various Levels of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI)" for ECO member states as a webinar in English by the International Cooperation Office of NCC, ECO secretariat and in cooperation with the Department of GIS and SDI of NCC on  September 23  and 24, 2024.

It should be noted that that the fifth international training course on “The Role of Cartography in the Optimal Presentation of Spatial and Statistical Information” was held as a webinar in English with the participation of ECO member states by the International Relations Office of NCC and ECO secretariat in cooperation with the Department of Cartography and National Atlases of NCC on August 20 and 21, 2023.

It is worth mentioning that NCC is one of the active members of the Energy, Mineral and Environment Committee of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) as well as the committee of Human Resource and Sustainable Development of ECO. The organization has been selected for the fourth time as the Secretary of the ECO Geomatics Committee and has so far held several international training courses.

The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) has 10 members, including Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
