Geographical names are one of the most important spatial information that is important in terms of culture and identity and is a part of the intangible cultural heritage of the country. For years, the issue of standardization of geographical names has been discussed at the national and international level, and in Iran it is being pursued by the Iranian committee for standardization of geographical names. in order to publish standardized geographical names, the national database of Geographical names have been designed and it has been made available to users through the web. In this information database, geographical names and attributes attributed to them can be searched and retrieved in different ways.
