The Winter Field Exercise began in Erzurum, Türkiye, on March 5, 2025 with participation of the representatives of the ECO member countries.

The representative of the National Cartographic Center of Iran participated in the ECO Technical Expert Group Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction in Turkey to present a report and reflect the suggestions of the Crisis Management Committee of NCC.

At the 35th ECO Regional Planning Council (RPC) meeting, with the participation of the representative of National Cartographic Center of Iran, holding specialized meetings for member countries was approved and NCC of Iran was assigned as the focal point.

National Cartographic Center of Iran held the first international specialized training course for the members of Human Resources and Sustainable Development Committee of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) on December 16 and 17, 2024.

The representative of the National Cartographic Center of Iran participated in the thirteenth Plenary Meeting of the Regional Committee of United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management for Asia and the Pacific (UN-GGIM-AP) in India and presented the report on Working Group 3 of this committee.

The third meeting of the BRICS working group on "Geospatial Technologies and its Application" will be held on September 16 and 17, 2024 in Moscow, Russia to share the experiences of member countries with the aim of expanding the fields of cooperation to develop and enhance geospatial technologies.
